City of North Adams Addresses Safety Concerns at Public MeetingFebruary 11, 2010

Thursday, February 11, 2010 the City of North Adams is hosting a community meeting to address rising concerns about neighborhood safety. The meeting will take place at City Hall in the Council Chambers at 6pm.
This is a city-wide neighborhood crime watch meeting to begin the revitalization and expansion of our neighborhood watch programs. Mayor Dick Alcombright, NAPD, community representative Jennifer Breen Kirsch and the Coalition are joining forces to keep our streets safe. At the meeting community concerns, neighborhood watch structures, planning and development of watch programs will be discussed. Anyone interested in community safety is encouraged to join us in our effort to keep North Adams a safe and beautiful place to live.
