The North Adams Fair Housing Commission will hold a remote meeting via, on Wednesday, July 8, at 1:00 pm.

Disclosure Statement for Virtual Meetings:

Pursuant to Governor Baker’s March 12, 2020 Order Suspending Certain Provisions of the Open Meeting Law, G.L. c. 30A, §18, and the Governor’s March 15, 2020 Order imposing strict limitation on the number of people that may gather in one place, this meeting of the North Adams Fair Housing Commission will be conducted via remote participation to the greatest extent possible. Specific information and the general guidelines for remote participation by members of the public and/or parties with a right and/or requirement to attend this meeting can be found on the City of North Adams’ website, at For this meeting, members of the public who wish to listen/watch the meeting may do so in the following manner: ZOOM video conference call. No in-person attendance of members of the public will be permitted, but every effort will be made to ensure that the public can adequately access the proceedings in real time, via technological means. In the event that we are unable to do so, despite best efforts, we will post on the City of North Adams’ website an audio or video recording, transcript, or other comprehensive record of proceedings as soon as possible after the meeting.

FHC MEMBERS PRESŁ T: Mary Lou Accetta, Jennifer Hohn, Paul Markland, and Cathy Verrier FHC
MEMBERS ABSENT: Paulette Fullerton, Karen Labombard, and Terrence Joy

Others Present: Michae l F. Nuvallie, Fair Housing Officer (FHO)

A. Call to Order: The meeting was called to order by the FHO at 1:00 PM. He stated that this
meeting was being conducted remotely by call-in only and given this, he asked all members to
identify themse lves in order to disce rn their presence, as well making sure that an official
quorum had been estab li s hed.

B. Oppo rtunity For Public Comment: The FHO opened up the meeting for public commentary; hea ring
none, he closed the open comment per iod.

C. Approval of Minutes: As motioned by Cathy Verrier and seconded by Mary Lou Accetta, it was
unanimous to accept the minutes of April 17, 2020 (representing the Ist quarter of 2020), for the
record as submi tted by the FHO yet excepting one abstention by Jennifer Hohn as she was not at the
last meeting.

D. Old Business:

a. Complaint-Intake- The FHO reported that there were no general inquires or formal compl a
ints received for this quarterly period.

06/06/20, and that it would be run again in the next quarte r as normally done.
